Causion
This Saturday, July 15th, Antigua & Barbuda’s reggae ambassador Causion will be having the second listening party for his just released EP The Mission Is In Progress. It will run from 5 to 9pm at Garrot Blacks in English Harbour Town, Antigua. Hosted by MJ The Poet, the event will also stream live on Causion‘s Instagram, as well as on his official website: dreadstopmusic.com. The first listening session was held in Miami at Inner Circle‘s Circle House Studio on June 22nd.
In anticipation of the upcoming party, Causion has shared the second single from the project: track #4, Back to my Roots. And as the name implies, the tune speaks to him going back to basics, to his source, which means reconnecting with the Most High in a deeper, more meaningful way.
Back to my Roots is a beautiful, rhythmic, one drop reggae record laced with both instrumental and vocal melodies. It joins six other equally strong songs on The Mission Is In Progress EP, which was released on June 24, 2023.
